this may not concern you, but the texture on those trees is awful. |

i think you may be better off useing a mix of ahsenvale and ruins grass |

The thing that strikes me is the stark difference between the leaves on the floor, the colour of the foliage and the colour of the leaves on the trees. |

Hmm. I see what you mean about the colour contrasts... Maybe I'll recolour the fallen leaves tiles. As for the textures... Hmm. I see what you mean; maybe I'll go over it with a "blur" tool in photoshop or something. On the other hand, it's still better than blizz trees. It IS for a cinematic though, so I do want it to look good... EDIT: Having looked again... The problem is that the trees are stretched much larger than they were made to be, and thus the textures are horribly stretched. I don't think there's much I can do about this, but if I were to upload the texture, could someone possibly make a higher resolution version or something? If not... Meh. Still better than blizz trees. |

The color contrast is horrible. There is way too little tile varyation and it is way too flat. There is also no sky and that green fog looks bad. |

There IS no green fog. I already mentioned that this is an early shot, hence the lack of sky. I've recoloured the leaves on the trees so that they match the ground texture better. More variation...yes, I'll add that. Too flat? Hmmm. Looking at it again, I can see what you mean, but on the other hand, forest floors are fairly flat. Perhaps I will add a bit more height variation though. |

It looked like light green fog but well it isn't so my bad :P Anyway I suggest you remove some of the green on the trees because the green is a bit too bright. Also the mushrooms look horrible... |

As I said, I've recoloured the leaves to better match the "Fallen Leaves" ground texture. I'll upload a new shot tonight. The mushrooms, however, are staying. It IS a Faerie forest, after all... Mmmm... Trippy. |

Who made those trees? |

Call me Elvis. Some older stuff of mine. I think the picture still needs some work, especially the tiles. Looks boring only to see the root and leaves tile, try to mix it up with Ashenvale and sunkenruins grass. Also you used way to much (Yes i said much, you cant count those shrubs :P) shrubs, use them kinda carefully and add some flowers and some fern. Also a discreet blue fog would fit in the forest i think. Im not sure bout the mushrooms, they look a lil bit strange, but maybe they look good. |

Including what others have said, i would suggest more plant life, such as flower and tinted river rushes. It'd also look a lot better with a sky and some fog, perhaps even a weather effect of some sort. |

Did you change the textures yourself or is it just a freaky tinting or lightning? |
