was wondering, i have WoW, and was hoping someone could make a game about it?


lol jk, but if anyone can record in wow i think it would be cool to make a wc3 map but take bosses from wow, or atleast make bosses that look like things from wow, and have tonnes of cinematics recorded from wow, like people walking into molten core against ragnaros... jus turn the avi to a mpq and other stuff... blade can tell yeh... i think :P

this is useless. why put that into wc3 when you can just buy WoW?

It's even worse with d2 recreation maps as you dont even have to pay monthly

... their point is very true, you can just buy D2 for 20$ and play it or buy WoW and play that, in Wc3 you would just butcher it... theres no way to make an exact replica... infact in alot of cases... nowhere close... its not worth the time or the effort; it is my opinion Wc3 maps shouldn't be recreations, why take someones old ideas when you could make your own, new, idea (isn't that some form of plagiarism anyway??? copyright infringment???) its just like you cant use Blizzard in a Sn (or a D2 Character name) try it, it doesn't work... copywrite infringment, they own everything about their little game, all the boss names... everything.

well, PR re-makes an old game, making it look and work better (although starcraft 2 is coming); making world of warcraft in warcraft 3 is a decrease in graphics and gameplay quality. But in terms of copyright, yeah, it's nasty...

im sure they wouldn't say much about putting starcraft (another free game) on warcraft 3, HOWEVER it costs money to play WoW online, if some1 made one on WC3, there would be hell to pay... i have no doubt

it dosen't necesary cost money to play, you can play on pirate servers.

There are a lot of rumors that supposedly Blizzard is going to announce SC2 this year, and not just announce that they will do it, rather they will be like 70-80% done with it. I think PR's going to die if it continues to move at the snails pace it's going.
