does it stay in tray and tell you when there is a new feed when you are not browsing it? Cause firefox reads RSS but just as live bookmarks buttons that show the feeds as popup menus, never announces the new things. Edit: Tried opera, besides of the UI that made me run away the first time I tried it. It does announce things only problem is that it doesn't seem to be able to show images in feed description. I am going to stick with RSS Bandit needs some tweaks but its all right for me. Edit: you can also use bloglines a site which also has a notifier, only problem though is that you can't set it to watch for updates every 5 minutes (I think it has a fixed value of 15 minutes per update) |

I've just started using RSS today, seems good. Using RSS Bandit, but I can set it to update every 5 minutes, so it would probably be the same as bloglines. Minimum periodic updates time seems to be 15 minutes. |

you mean you can't set it to update every 5 minutes? Well I even could set it to update every minute "Element control" tab on "Source properties" although I don't know the real names it simply automatically assume I wanted a version in spanish ... bloglines updates every 60 minutes |

Yes, I did mean can't. Found out now, how stupid can I be, did not release that I could type values in that box myself, works perfect now. Thank you. |

What's this for? (I'm too lazy to read right now) |

Well, why do you want an answer then? You would have to read that too. Hmm, what about adding new gallery images and new map feeds? |

I like the sound of new Gallery feeds. Maps I do not think needs it, too few actually get through at the moment. Don't double post, Blade :P. Merged them. |

When some time has gone and you are actually not editing something old, but posting something completely new, I think that a new post is better, because it will show people that I wanted to say something else. Had no relation to the other post, which would not have gotten any responces and has most likely already been read by the person it was directed at. |
