Another session, another change...you'll see
Don't forget to suggest a topic for future sessions here.

Each session lasts 10 days
  • The theme for this session is:

    Weapon pack
    by Datajax

    You'll have to make as many weapons as you wish (show em wips and individual pics) and at the end release them all in one big weapon pack. The only restriction is that the weapons must be Warcraft style, so no high-tech supa-dupa laser guns or lightsabers or stuff like that. Good ol' fantasy (non-sf) weapons. You can use in-game textures or new textures made by yourself, I don't care.
  • Rules:

    What rules? Just keep the polycount decent (maximum 100 faces) and don't steal other's ideas.

I'd suggest a poly limit - like 100 polygons per, maximum.

well, you can do gnomish mechanical techy stuff. Just don't make it SF.

Edit: I made something before I go to school. It's a falx, an ancient dacian sword that could cut limbs off.

yeah, but only if you shove it up your ass after you make it.

edit: I finished the falx and made 2 variations of a sword (flaming and poisonous). the falx uses in-game textures, the rest have altered wc3 textures.

EDIT: two minute work for this one.. I'll probably add a few more details on the model, but most will go on the texture.

EDIT2: oh, and since I never mod wc3 anymore, does wc3 support more than diffuse map? That's the only map rome total war supports, so I'm kinda used to have that kind of map

oh, so you're emancipated now (I mod doom 3, pwnzor!). wc3 is a weak engine and only supports diffuse maps. If some one could do some tuning to the game engine so it supports spec & normal maps, it would be great...but senseless
