I have a map where you can play CTF. Everything works fine, except for one annoying little problem. When someone picks up their enemies' flag, the flag changes color to match the player holding it. The way I created the image of the flag is by making the flag an item that a hero can pick up and then setting the target art to human banner (blue flag) and orc banner (red flag). That way, when a hero picks up a flag the target art apears and it looks like the hero is carrying a flag. Is there a way to prevent the model file from changing color to match the player who is carrying the flag? I would really like the blue flag to, well, stay blue! |

you must edit the flag's skin and edit the alpha channel where the team color is (instead of standard white, make it black). |

Cool. Sounds great. Ummm, any tips on how I can actually do that? I'm afraid my knowledge of the World Editor is not that deep. Yet. |
