Creating a Campaign: Team needed

Hi i am shadow legion and i want to create a campaign the unfortuate thing is that to create the campaign would take to long and i need a team to assist me in creating it. The campaing will be part of a series of campaigns that requires this one to take place first. The campaign is about an aging man who has amnesia as he struggles to find out who (and what he is). unfortuately to reveal more would ruin the storyline (sorry ). i am also hoping to make it so that the campaigns story line would change if the player types in the characters "real" name at the begining so that the player has a dual experience. anyone willing to help me or if they additional information simply post your email and i will clarify anything that needs to be. BONUS: anyone who helps out with this campaign will receive the full story line. I swear it is one of the best pieces of fiction I have thought about. Please reply soon time is ticking and i really like this campaign.

Why do people so often fail to give any information that would make you, say, even consider putting in over 50 hours of work?

More info or people just won't be interested.

I am not asking people to commit themselves i was asking people if they were intersested in helping me out then i would show them my idea. then they could decide on whether or not to help me. I am sorry about not telling people the idea up front but i want to keep the actual plot hidden until it is released.

Well shadow,I think I can help you.I am good enough at terraining,I can handle triggers(these that the WE makes for you,not JASS) and make cinematics(I have not yet used special effects,but I can experiment if you want).Also I know how to use Adobe Photoshop(v6.0,Adobe Photoshop Elements and CS)very well,but(it may sound silly)I don't know how to apply custom skins.From modeling I know almost nothing,only simple models,but in blender and not GMax(wich is used in most tutorials)so I don't know (yet,this may change after some searching) how to make models for Warcraft.

...and a last thing...My copy of warcraft is illegal(although I'm thinking of buying it,I saw a good offer at a store yesterday)so I don't play at Battle.net,only with friends.

And what do you plan on doing in this project? I mean most good people from this site won't help someone out if they don't know anything about them. Show us some of your stuff, could be spells or some terrain, anything to catch some attention.

That is abit harsh don't you think. The guy is clearly a writer and needs a team to help him create his ideas. However, i would agree that giving so little informaion about yourself and the story line means that at the moment your 'great fiction idea' sounds like poo.

You need to try and attract people and at the moment you have told us next to nothing.

Here it goes

This is set before warcraft

You take on the role of a human who has amnesia. As this human you search to make a role for yourself. Unfortunately this doesnt come cheap. After erands you find yourself at your new home and you rest for a few nights. One morning you wake up to find the whole town watching you. The house is in ruins. All are in awe in wonderance awaiting an explanation to how this has happened. All except one mysterious man watching you from a distance.

The man approaches you and infoms you that you are a powerful mage and that he wish to take you to Dalaran. You agree knowingly that you would not fit in the village anymore. You begin your journey to Dalaran.

Once there you learn about your magical abilites and are sent on erands studying under a variety of mages. you go on erands for the counsel, however during one of your escapades you are arrested by a marshal who wishes you thrown in the dungeon for magic usage.

From there you learn your real name Gylrod Black Fist from thugs that believe you were their former leader and that you went missing. You escape the dungeon with the aid of your mini army and head back to Dalaran. Unfortunately your rabble follows believing they owe their lives to you. as you explain that you don't want their loyalty, they idley ignore everyword you say and follow you nonetheless. When you return you rest from the weary journey that you have been on.

Later when you feel old and decaying you are approached by a archmage and presents you with an opportunity to study under a rising mage Medihv's mother (sorry cant remember her name). You spend time learning from your mentor. You recieve a summons from Dalaran.

You return with aged haste. Realizing that ther eis something wrong with you they explain that you seem to of aged fifty years in less than a month. They summoned you because they needed a mage to take the place of Guardian. Realizing your potential and sympathising with your case they take you down to an anceint temple where you recive your powers to be the next Guardian.

As the proccess is taking place Time Stops for all but you. Ancient Guardians appear and tell you that you recieved your power long ago. Before the ancient laws of only one Guardian was passed. They tell you that you have recieved your gift. Then light crashes down on you and shatters your body into a thousand pieces.

From the shattered carcass reveals an ancient Lich nearly as old as Malfurion Stormrage himself. Realizing why you forgot your name and your life you flee Dalaran and find a place to reside to restore your body to its original state. Only to have a few stowaways on board...

Your mini army followed you completly devoted to you for saving their life.

In the middle of the Ocrean you raise a forgotten Island and construct a temple to concentrate your efforts on finding a cure. As you study the bandits watch and learn from you in order to help you find a cure. Realizing that it could take time they find the spell that cursed their master and used it on themselves...

They used it to guard their broken master while he slumbers through the aeons without his consent. Even up until Warcraft 3 he sleeps... Awaiting a cure... Waiting for some one to help him... Or to help someone that needs him...

There is also an alternative ending if you go to the start and type in the real name and you can take on the role of a demonic leader and reek hell across the face of the world... but i have not finished that idea...

The end of the 'good' version is needed for another campaign as I want to bring in this character but it is hard without anybackground. Obviously it will not be as dull as it reads. hope you enjoed it... You should took me twenty minutes to write...

At the moment this project has 2 people. We need more in order to complete this campaign quicker. If we don't get some help it may be a number of months before this is finished. We need a terrainer, triggerer, modeller and probably about everything else in between.

I'm not very good at the graphics stuff at all. However, my expertise is in the field of dialogue scripting, for example polishing dialogue to eliminate cheesiness and making it sound more like how they talk in the Campaigns, or even writing the dialogue for a situation from scratch. If you want I could even help you record and edit voice-overs for the dialogue in the campaign and convert them into .wav and .mp3 files.
