Well, we all know that Blizzard didn't add a whole bunch of really useful strings to the game interface screen. So I've started adding the missing entries to the world editor.

For now I've got Tips, Ubertips and Hotkeys for Move, Patrol, Stop, Hold Position, Rally Point, Cancel, Build abilities and the like.

I've also added the CHAT_RECIPIENT_ entries, so now you won't have to use an MPQ editor every time you save your map to disable chat messages. (see http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=80691 for reference, thanks to shadow1500 for the discovery)

I know there are a lot of other strings in GlobalStrings.fdf and maybe also in other files that are still missing in the editor. An example would be:

CHAT_HISTORY "Chat History"

I'd like to add as many additional strings as possible. So if anyone want's to contribute to the project you could just check a few of the strings and see if they're already in the editor and if not maybe try them and look if they work ingame.

Anway here's a first release including the above mentioned additions. Just extract the archive to your War3 folder to add them to the editor.

I think that people using the english version of the WE should change the first part of the UnitGlobalStrings to the above.

There are not that many strings that u can change, really, atleast not enough to start a project.

Did you try some?

Also, if you still have the old text of your tutorial around, I think it would be a good idea to also explain how it can be achieved manually without the files. Sometimes you don't want to have those files in your UI\ and Units\ folder. I think that would be useful for some people and it would also give some background info on the internal workings.

I have already fixed this on my computer, but Incinerate arrow does not have its data fields available... Is there a way to make all ultimates effect spell immune units? Some ultimates do not work correctly...
