A thingy I wanted to implement into morrowind, but I'll save it for oblivion. The first pic is the low poly mesh and the rest are shots of the high poly (>500k polygons) model I'll use for the normal map. But I don't think I'll ever finish this, so I'll post it in the gallery.

Oh, and the vertices in the knee zone are actualy welded, but they rendered nasty, don't know why.

Zbrush isn't an alternative to 3dmax; they are programs to use in conjunction.

ZBrush is waay better at organic modeling & texturing than any other modeling application there is at this moment. You can do sharp-edged things with zbrush too, but I find that easier to do with 3ds max/modo/maya, etc.

no, it's about a game model for Oblivion. The high poly models are for the normal map.
