Hmm mines weren't overpower, i realised after getting owned by them a few times that i had to send in lesser units before the real wave to clear up the minefield. That was just a fun addition to tactic. One problem with the game was that defense and offense were equally good, unless the mayor chose to focus on either of them. When we played, both mayors started by focusing defense, and then Tim (our mayor) started focusing offense. If he had continued to focus defense, that game would never end. Defense was VERY easy in beginning (meaning offense was near impossible) and then in the end this changes, so that offense become easy (just mass meat wagons and attack move) and defense near impossible. The game has to work this way or it will never end. But in some way i felt that what I did had no affect on the outcome, only what Tim did. As long as the defense / offense ministers aren't complete morons, it's really a war between the mayors. Oh and this time i played as offense minister. A fun thing with this map is the variation of playing a new position every time. I think micro management played very small part in attacking; it was really all about massing a unit type and attack moving. Maybe if you had more varied unit types, with different abilities... Some units have high health and can "tank" the towers, while the mortar units have long range and stronger damage vs some towers. And as tim says, the mines are kind of boring. I tried building two strong units and then massing mortar teams with upgraded damage, but the mortarteams died on first mine i bumped into. Of course i COULD have cleared the way with one mortarteam, but i forgot. A fun addition to the offensive units were the special units. These had abilities like healing wave, cluster rockets and spirit link. And no, i really don't have sollutions to all this, im just the guy that say stuff sucks and ur the guy who fixes it :) Not sure about whether i approve it or not, u'll have to wait alittle longer for that. |

I see, i'll think of solutions. Task List: - Nerf / Completely Remove / Make it an upgradable Minister's attack completely. -Make Mines bought from a shop that the mayor builds which will sell some new stuff as well -Buff the higher level defence towers -Special Random Events? -Make Lightposts Pathingmap nothing (might look kinda weird sticking out of a building, have to see) -----------------Done -New Units, Defence Shields and Nukes, Propaganda Towers Hospitals etc. -Cruise Missles (hehe.) ----------------------- Planning -Voting Kick Trigger ---------------------Considering -Anti TK Trigger -------------------------Done -Cinematic Tutorial ----------------------Doing -Warning Msg for Mayor Income Cap + Specific Amount Capped ----Done -General Buildings/Defence Buildings Voluntary + Mayor Tech Req -Make Tech Chance Higher. -------------------------- Done -Tech Icons ----------------------------------------- Done -Decrease Cap to 40% ------------------------------- Done Hmm thats about it. Will be rather bz this week so probably wont be updating. Do Continue posting your feedback though.. |
