Survival Map - Well... heres a few screenshots of my new map Ultimate DOOM II. Its nearly done, but not quite yet. Along with screenshots (which are old, ive updated it and it looks even better now), ill be posting the "instructions manual" lol. The loading screen tells u the basis, but the quests tell u just about everything. All colors removed from quests. Code:
-------------------- By: Koga73 Ultimate DOOM II ==> This Map Is A Snowflake Software Production <== www.snowsoft.jconserv.net www.snowsoft.00freehost.com -------------------- -------------------- Weapons/Ammo: You start off with the chainsaw (which has unlimited ammo), and the pistol. You can change between your weapons by clicking on the pentagram icon. Your mana is your ammo. For instance, if it says 32/128 for your mana, that means you currently have 32 rounds out of a maximum of having up to 128 rounds. Every shot you fire subtracts one from your mana, if you are out of ammo, you cannot fire. As you progress, you will get better weapons. You get ammo by picking up the green ammo boxes. The amount of ammo you get from each box is random. The following is a list of levels and weapons acquired at each. 5 - Shotgun 10 - Machine-gun 20 - Chaingun 30 - Grenades 40 - Plasma-gun 50 - RPG 60 - BFG -------------------- -------------------- Energy: In order to use your units abilities, you must have energy. Every few seconds you will gain 1 point of energy. You cannot trade energy. Your energy cannot exceed 45. Each ability says how much energy it takes. -------------------- -------------------- Saving: You can only save ONCE per game. I recommend saving AFTER you die. To save, simply type -Save. After doing so, it will give you a big code. I know it's long, but copy it down, or... press the print screen button, then open microsoft paint (you can minimize wc3 by pressing alt+tab), and press paste. Now just save that, and whenever you need to load, just type the code out, copy it, then paste it into wc3. If you save, and do not copy your code down in time, it's ok, just type -save again and it will display the same code. -------------------- -------------------- Loading: To load, simply type -Load CODEGOESHERE where the CODEGOESHERE part is where you enter the code you got when you saved. You can only load once and MUST do so before the load timer runs out. -------------------- -------------------- Cheating The Save/Load: If you can figure out a way to cheat it and get a high level hero, go for it! I designed the save/load system to be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to crack. It uses a main save and load trigger, but then it uses custom made function triggers to convert between hex, decimal, binary, xoring, and rotating the binary. It uses 2 triggers to route out the encryption process. It uses 20 codesets, with a triple encryption algorithm to ensure that no two encryption processes will be the same (maybe 1 in 1000 or so). It encrypts each code differently based on the characters in the players names, so every player gets a different encryption process. On top of all that, it uses some checks within it to make sure that you can't tamper with the characters to get a better hero, nor can you steal somebody elses code. So if you are determined enough to spend hours to get a level 125 hero, I wish you luck! -------------------- -------------------- Camera System: You can change your camera views by typing -cam X where X is a number from 0-5. The following is a list of what the camera angles are. -cam 0 = Free Camera Unlocked -cam 1 = First Person Locked -cam 2 = Overhead Locked -cam 3 = Third Person Locked -cam 4 = Rolled Back Locked -cam 5 = Wireframe Locked -------------------- -------------------- Sharing Ammo: You can share ammo with other players units. Before you can do so, you must have the same weapon equipped, and must be next to each other (very close together). Once you are, type -give <playername> <amount>. Be sure to INCLUDE the <>. Ex. -give <Koga73> <25> The command -ammo works also, and does the same thing. Ex. -ammo <Koga73> <25> -------------------- -------------------- Arrow Keys: If you are in a locked camera mode (such as first person), it can sometimes be hard to move with the mouse. So, you can use the arrow keys (left, right, forward) to turn and move your unit. Along with the arrow keys, if your unit becomes unselected at any time, just press the escape key and it will automatically select and pan directly to your unit. -------------------- -------------------- Booting/Kicking: This map uses a voteboot system. It requires 2 votes from 2 different players to kick somebody. To cast your vote, type -kick <playername>. Make sure to INCLUDE the <>. Ex. -kick <Koga73> or... Ex. -boot <Koga73> -------------------- |
