Some shots from my cinematic.. Dont ask about the underground domes, its part of the story, and i wont leave them out. All units are in red, cause i'm too lazy to change player. (Cept some ogres) 1st n 2nd is in a barren oasis, 2rd n 4th is a city being attacked my undead, i dubbed it stratholme, but its not. (Not the best city) 5th n 6thThe altar of storms in the burning steppes. 7th, 8th, and 9th is a WIP castle. All models from War3sear / Barrens doodad pack. |

These shots looks good, however the detail at the altar of storms is pretty bad, this is reducing the image quality somewhat. You should also add some tile variation to the path (altar of storms). The volcanos looks kinda misplaced too and fog should be "matching" the theme of the picture(s). For example the picture with outland tileset would look better, in my opinion (no shit), with red or maybe redly orange of some kind. Remeber that the fog adds ALOT of atmosphere to your terrain which is very important for terrain pictures. The city looks nice with white fog, if you want your barrens picture to look warm add yelowish or orangish color to it (I suppose you want it to look warm as you have sun beams decending from the sky). The density of the fog you can think out yourself I guess. You have to decide if you want to see the sky in the backround. The attacked city got something instead of sky around which looks misplaced. A bit under average compared to the barrens picture. "(Not the best city)" as you said yourself. Got to say the tile variation in the barrens picture is nice. Overall the pictures it is pretty good, can't see much in your WIP shots howerver. Hard to comment, but looks, uhm, a bit claustrophobic in the hallways. P.S. Work on the fog ;). |

I couldnt find anything good to match for an altar of storms, and could only find one model that came close to what one looks like. I had a feeling the fog was a lil to light. As for Quote:
Its underground dome doodad, its there for storyline reasons. Which i wont reveal yet. ;) Quote:
I was going for a cluttered look. |
