everything in my map works perfect. the cam follows my character, u see through his eyes(first person), but what i cant figure out how to do without 50 regions is keep your camera height offset with your character even when he goes into a ditch or something like that. if he does, the cam height offset stays the same while my character is really moving into the ditch. any ideas?

There's a function in JASS "GetLocationZ(<insert point>)" which you can use to get the Z value of the point of the hero.

But setting the camera height to something based off GetLocationZ() will make things a little weird because there's something in War3 that also causes the camera height to be based off what is in front of the camera. Still, if there aren't any steep cliffs or you allow a margin of error GetLocationZ() will do.
