There was a map recently on wc3sear.ch with a fine female archer in it, if you reskinned her it would probably work perfectly. (I think Jigrael made it, the map was some inuyasha one) |

I'd like to add there's a lot of new samurais at search now, and a female archer is among them them. Now, for gameplay... I forgot to mention that you can selct the bamboo sticks, one says NO PATH and the other one is normal, but you can click on them. Anyway: I really enjoyed the gameplay and terrain, it was basicly a normal AoS, but you set up a nice atmosphere. When selecting my hero thoguh, there was an extra General there I think, he was level one, not sure if he was suppsoed to be there or not. I liked the idea of honour and Legends, and I hope you introduce some more. (Maybe make them transparent or something, since they're dead) Some more bonuses would be interesting, and maybe a damaging ability, because I didn't feel it was worth paying some much for an aura that lasts 5 minutes. I'd say you could pump it up a little bit, or add something else. If he did indeed hold off an army, he must have attacked some way, no? :P The spawns seemed to be fine, easy enough to kill without spending too much time on. I noticed the peasant was almost the exact same as the Ashigaru though, shouldn't he be slightly weaker? (What sort of modle to do you need for him anyway? I could probably do something) Now, you say you want an archer as well, will they replace the ninjas or be a new spawn altogether? If you wanted, I could remove the ninjas sword so you could keep him as a ranged unit for one team, and download the female ninja modle from search for a complete different set of spawns from the other team. Some more items wouldn't hurt either, you could just change the anmes and icons for them or something, like the potions and stuff, so they fir the theme better. Now, if you want, I can try a shot at some hero abilities as well if you want to add a few new ones soon, as well as provide some critism on current ones. Keep updating! :) |

Ok first thanks for taking your time and testing my map ;) Bamboo stick bug will be fixed next version ;) I already saw the models at wc3sear.ch and they are great. Currently I´m working on three new heroes: Archer, No-Daichi Samurai and Shinobi. Still need ideas for some abilties ;) Legend(s) will be tweaked and I will ad more of them. Ideas pls ;) About the ninja spawns: it would be great if you could remove their weapon would look much better I think. Peasant is the same model like the Ashigaru. It needs a repair animation and most of its armor should be taken away. Would be great if you could also comment on the abilities cause in my opinion they are the best part of the map and work together fine (thanks to all those who provided code and helped). Thanks, nooK |

Alright, let me test again and I'll try out a new hero, I was the Yari Samurai last game, and I found the synergy with his strength abilities great :) I was thinknig too, maybe the pulverize one could use strength too? (Damage + half of strength) or something, but other than that, I really liked the hero, especially his ultimate. (I can do those models for you too, they're both quite simple.) EDIT: Oh, did you want an archer unit too? I could remove the extra animations from the hero one, take off the glow, add a corpse and edit the skin if you wanted. |

yes would be great if you could do those models. and a non hero archer would be superb :) |

Sure thing :) Testing the map again riht now, I'm the General, and I learned the Banner ability, the tooltip said it only regenrates 1 hp on the first level, but I'm pretty sure it was donig a bit more, might want to check that out. |

it gives exactly 1 extra hp every second like in the description. what about his other abilities? |

Seemed in order. Anyway, I have your ninja done, along with the archer, which is nearly complete. I cnped the ashigaru's armour onto her so she'd match well too. I'll psot the both of them when they're finished. I can change it if you want, but I think the ninja is fine. |

looks great :) you`re doing the peasant too? |

Yeah, I'll work on the peasant now. Any specific details you'd like? |
