Triggering a gate to open: Problem!!!!

Well, I am trying to get a gate to open as soon as people who are allied with player 1 go next to it. the problem is that the first time they go into the region, the gate doesnt open, but if they leave the region and come back to it a second time, it opens. Can you tell me how to fix this?


Trigger:
Opening Gate
Collapse Events
Unit - A unit enters Gate <gen>
Collapse Conditions
((Owner of (Triggering unit)) is in (All allies of Player 1 (Red))) Equal to True
Collapse Actions
Destructible - Open (Random destructible in Gate <gen>)

If they are already in the Gate region from the start, then that is the reason.

If they are, then you should just make a trigger that opens it at map initialization.

Why are you using "Random Destructible", anyway? Why not open the gate you actually want opened?

because i didnt see anything that i could specify which gate
Oh, and btw they dont start in the gate region.

Click on "Select a Tree/Destructible" at the gate selection, and then simlpy click on the gate....
