I've built a unit that uses the Ancient Protector's "Root" ability. Everything about it works fine except: the unit completely loses collision when uprooted. It can walk through people and buildings. Anyone know what's up? (I've tried finding the answer, but the simple non-boolean searches on these forums bring up 13 pages of posts, many of which are poorly named. Nudge nudge.) |

Maybe it has something with root working only for buildings. But your no-colission stuff is kinda interesting... does it make unit targetable or acting like locust? |

Is it a hero and a building? |

The unit is a non-hero structure. I've tried modeling it's stats after the Ancient Protector as much as possible, even giving it the Ancient classification. I am going to try basing it on the Ancient Protector unit itself. Doing so may solve my problem, though it won't answer my question: what is going on? EDIT: Oh, and Jacek, the unit is still targetable. It can just walk through things. |

I just figured it out, so I'll answer my own question: Don't forget, when giving a Root-using building movement speed and turn-rate, to change the movement type from NONE to FOOT, NovaBomb, you moron. |
