Upgrade Problem

look through search, found some people with similar problems, seems liek when u set an upgrade to level 1 and take away required units, it doesn't get "unupgraded". any way to go around this

You can't "unupgrade" without triggers.

Cant you just add/remove the Night Elf Archer Ability?

There are many archer abilites and none of them have anything to do with upgrades in general. You also never suppiled a method to remove it. Stop making useless posts and think about what you are posting first.

WEU doesnt do it, the effects of the upgrades are permenant.

Unless you put an option to switch between one unit to another like Methamorphosis, but permanent, it seems impossible.
