Anybody here wanna get together for a game? Of the 2 I've hosted so far, I've gotten stuck with freaks. Not freaks that are good, either. Miserably sad little freaks who don't even know what DM stands for. |

I'd be happy to, i play alot of RP's, and i played a bit of DM last night, so i am reasonably good, i'm part of the RP clan and you can find me on US West, channel Clan Roleplayers under the name Pheonix-IV. |

I 'was' part of that clan. But i beleive i'm reasonably good at it, i've played three times, one the DM didn't know what to do second i was tked third everyone complained because they didn't know what the hell was going on. |

Lol, well put, Sashanan. :D DM stands for Dungeon Master, what this mod is all about. By the way, I'm Zaek on the USEast server. I know most everybody in RP there, but I never join clans. Against my religion or somethin'. |

Try spreading the map on bnet. Relatively few people really know about the map and everyone keeps doing private games. I say do some public games, let people download, get bnet into the map and im sure some good DMs will pop up. If you don't trust the bnet people to be good DMs, then you can still arrange your games with good DMs you know, but there will be more DMs and players available to play with. |

I just hosted a public game as the DM, and right after I spawned the heros, which were all furbolgs, oddly enough, they ran straight to the other side of the map and started pretending to rape each other. That game didn't last very long... ...by the way, can you spawn the heros and give units to the neutral hostile comp? I wouldn't mind running around with the heros with my own guy beating the crap out of monsters. :D |

Well spectre, you didn't do to well the first time, remeber? lol. I don't mind playing, just sometimes the true idiots come, like ones who think it's like the neverlax DND. But as yoda said (kinda i think) Annoyances lead to Tking, Tking leads to pissing off people, pissing off people means run if they know where you live. |

I done several public games and you always got those problem player that won't go away or won't cooperate. What i've done is put a bunch of bandits around the hero when there out in the middle of nowhere by themselves and throwing it into cinematic mode. The hero will switch to neutral passive and surrender himself. Then i make a optional quest for the party to rescue the hero from the bandits. If then the player doesn't get it, if he is rescued, i always prefer to fall back on the archimonder firing line or having every monster they encounter out to get that player. :D |
