This is a speed model, made for 3D Total's weekly speed modelling challenge. It was done in 1h 20min-30min, can't remember exactly. At first I wanted to make a simplified head, but I went with the flow and made this...I didn't cared about proportions & such and because I had a simplified model in my mind and did kinda the contrary so it results in uglyness. The "eyes" are buttons. And I know it couldn't realy stand like that, that's why it's so freaky, but let's say that it has a realy heavy weight in that leg or something like that. Coffe comes out of his mouth. it's like 99000 polygons, or something like that. |

Love it, love coffee, love it. Creative as Destiny said. What render effects/lights did you use on that second render? |

it's just a maxwell diffuse white material applied on the objects and physical sky + sun set on 01.01.2005 and 8:30 o' clock. Yeah, maxwell roxx, have a student's license for it. |

Nice rendering indeed. Did you raise the polycount manually by using cut for example or is there any special tool for this? (Sorry, I'm new to max, so I just wanted to ask) Now that thing made me wanna drink coffee... |
