Library

Maybe some of you remember the Library building, which was my very first mesh made for RotHE. Well, I finally decided to UVmap and texture it, and this is what I got.

Yes, the three circles of writings rotate around the building. Sorry but I do not know how to make a video so that you can see it better. Warcraft 3 Viewer is not an option because the texts are ribbons.

Well anyway, I'm waiting for comments. :) I know that here I will get constructive criticism.

I feel there should be a door?

I'll consider that... Shouldn't be very hard to add, though I'll have to think if wheter to make a separate plane, or implement it into the already existant mesh. :)

Well, the model isn't bad - but if you hadn't stuck Library on the image, I wouldn't have called it a Library.

It should look more like a building in my opinion. It looks great, but it would look even better if a house elevated from under the ground and the face pot thingy would be on the roof.

I totaly agree with WH, the model rocks, but it doesn't really look like a library.

/agree with whats been said. while a library is a nice theme and the model concept is well done and implemented, thats not a library.

Is it me or would this thing make an excelent elven altar?

What do you know about Elven libraries anyway? :P I tried to give it an library aura with those writings. What do you expect at a library btw?

And altar? I dunno... it would still require a god or something on it. I have an altar, but the neck is somehow strange and I wont' post it here until I get to fix it.
