Mod Problem

Can somebody help me or tell me how to make a mod of war3? I want to change my map into a mod because it's nearly 4mb. But i don't want to use MPQDrawf that's hard to upgrade. I just like to make Mod as TTOR or DemonCraft.But i know a little about programming.Thanks for help me!

Oh,thanks and can you tell me how to hack the game.dll? i want to creat a folder on root directory of wc3, and i could join in wc3 from this folder . i only know it must hack game.dll. change:

but it only could use in ROC ,not TFT because there are other two mpq in it and i don't konw how to chang their path,because it always report Error Msg.

making a mod patch because your map is almost 4mb doesn't sound very wise to me.
