Ok so if I wanted to make a hero able to learn 10 abilities or atleast be able to pick a few from the 10. I could give him no hero abilities to get rid of the built in hero learn ability and then could I use a spell book + triggers to make an "enchanced one"? How could I do this? If possible thank you |

Dummy abilities in a spell book that add/increase abilities when they are cast. Maybe base them off channel? |

I'm working on the same thing. Channel is not a good ability for this since it interupt the units current orders. It's better to base the dummy abilities on divine shield, defend, immolation and simular abilities that does not stop the unit. You may think that the interupt thingy is a small price to pay, but as i have seen it, ppl upgrade their ability point just when their unit is busy with something, not when they are commanding it. This results in having orders interupted on bad moments, like when you are moving a long distanse (stoping the unit, forcing the player to re-move) or in combat (stoping the unit from attack 1-2 seconds). But i don't know if there are 10 abilities that does not interupt the unit....i think that there are 6-7. |

Roar, thunderclap, taunt? Don't non-target abilities just make them stop for a moment to cast, then carry on with what they were doing? |

Ah thx, perhaps I could just make 10 abilities based of 1 ability with there own tooltips/pictures. |

No, since that doesn't work except with very few abilities (channel and spell book). Others, you cannnot have multiple version work together (same order string). |

I have also been trying to do this. How do you make a spellbook type ability? I know the triggers and everything to grant abilities when dummy spell is casted, but how do you get the actual 'book' to work? |
