I'm showing screenshots of my map To show you a bit of the features in Hero City, now I know there are some problems with the terrain and I AM fixing them, these are screenshots that were taken weeks ago I'm in the process of getting new ones to show you, also If you think that I have made heroes start with massive damage, High life, your wrong, the character being used is a character used ONLY for testing so I don't have to deal with most of the tiny nuisances of monsters, but feel free to coment on whatever you like or ask questions about character classes submint ideas ect

PLEASE comment, I'd Really Apreciate it

So Far the Character Classes Are:

divide things by 10, so at 10,000 hp, it doesnt flash randomly(the hp bar that is)

He means that you shouldn't have such high numbers for everything. Instead of giving heroes 10000-ish HP, and enemies having 100 damage, give them 5000 HP, and enemies 50 damage. Maps with heroes that have so much HP you can't actually read it any more because it won't fit in the box look unprofessional.
In screenshot one, you have flowers growing out of tiles.
In screenshots two and three, the terrain is awful. Use more than one texture, and use the raise/lower ground tools to give a bit of height variation.

They have the point. It is much more enjoyable to play campaigns/maps that look professional. Although they might have some interesting and working ideas it adds much to the gameplay if everything seems to be in order instead of texts that won't fit in the spaces left for them etc...

well I understand what you mean but the hero had like 300+ strength, I bought the tomes for him, he only starts out with 2 strength and only 125 HP

Hieght Variation was unavailible at that time, I was going through some trouble with the secondary (rpg) camera and it wouldn't pan when the height changes, I've fixed that now, but I don't have any recent screenies, I'm going to get some as soon as I fix the current problems, I apreciate your critisism though

Post 3:

here's a revised version of the badlandsZoom (requires log in)

Edited by Blade.dk. Reason: Triple post.

that terrain looks much better, trust me 3rd person and wc3 do not mix. Stick with birds eye view. I was wondering if you were okay after the first terrain screenies ;)

well I had some errors in the map, and I was looking at those instead of the terrain then I got caught up with that and forgot about the terrain (which wasn't my best at the time lol) so it sucked when I posted and I gave the user a choice between the two cameras by typing !cam1 (Birds Eye View) or !cam2 (rpg)

ya the terrain is getting along pretty good, very pro like; but Im not really that great with the editor yet so i shouldnt be sayin' this. I like the classes though, they each have their own edge, makes the game more interesting.

If you stole the model, in my opinion I wouldnt use it at all, but if it was publicly released for use then that shouldn't be a problem.

And with the double posting... You never have to double post. There is an edit button for a reason. And trust me, the big guys upstairs don't like double posting.

Double (and triple) posting is bad, but double posting when you know about it and write that you don't care is worse. I've warned you. Don't do it again.

I'm Trying To Make new mini games for my map so players do not get "bored" after the first 30 minutes of playing, The Newest ones i've made are Lumberjack, Coin Festival, and Elemental Extinguisher
