I need help picking out a set of tiles to use for all of Lordaeron.

Lordaeron includes:
Plaguelands,
Tirisfal Glades,
Silverpine Forest,
Hillsbrad Foothills,
The Hinterlands,
and Arathi Highlands.

Please help me pick out these tiles.
I'll use WEU if need be to have enough tiles.

I would suggest using Ashenvale as the base tileset, and the add Felwood Grass,
Felwood Dirt, Felwood Rough Dirt, Felwood Leaves, Village Stone Path, and Village Rocks.

Which tiles from the base tileset do i remove?

I thought about it and i really don't want to use WEU, as the WEU trigger stuff will get in the way later.

Advanced, then Modify Tileset. But some files are unable to transfer due to the base sets you have. So WEU may be needed.

You can still use WEU without creating advanced triggers. Simply add the different tiles with the map editor and deselect any of the boxes that involve advanced triggers.

I know that but then I have to use the WEU, and even if the map doesn't have advance triggers enabled the advance trigger stuff still shows up, as its hardcoded into WEU.

No it is not.. You only apply advanced triggers if you want to use them..

I've created a map before without advanced trigger on but when i opened it in WEU i saw the advance trigger stuff still.

You can see the advanced triggers but they are not enabled.
I always use WEU and if I don’t use any advanced triggers (and I never do) or WEU add on triggers, there isn't any problem to open the map in the world editor.

The data is only added to the map script area if you turn them on, but you still see the custom WEU functions in the GUI. As long as you don't use anything that says 'Advanced Triggers must be enabled to use this' then you won't have any extra stuff applied to the map.

Problem is that they didn't mark everything that is WEU only

They show which triggers are WEU's by the tips in grey when you try to edit the triggers.

What are you using WEU's Editor for? I only use WEU Enhancer and the normal editor. No extra stuff belonging to WEU appear.

If you add extra tiles or a map bigger then 256x256 then you must use WEU.

I added the maximum tiles allowed in WEU enhancer and then opened the map in WE, the map was opened without any problem.
And just a thought why do you want to use a map that is larger then 256?
I read here that it would leg in Bnet and you can reach the max doodad limit easily.
If you will link maps it will give you a similar effect and you can use WEU no limits to make the map more realistic (if you want to exceed the doodad limit).
