Hidden information:
I've never really liked the existing trees in warcraft (they look nice, but just doesn't fit the style I'm aiming for), and I therefore took it upon my mantle to reskin it. It looks 'okay' so far (but I'm not totally satisfied with it just yet), and I thought I'd share it with you, any thoughts and critiscm welcomed.

It's done! Comments and critiscm still appreciated.

Edit: Comparison between normal trees and the reskinned ones added. (I know, they're a tad dark, but that's how we like 'em)
Edit2: Noticed an important fact about the tree. It uses both a 'shiny' version and a 'dark' version.
Edit3: Removed previous images, and uploaded images of a 'snow' skin.
Edit4: Final edit. They're all done. Uploaded an image of some darker trees.

Tim.
Mind giving us shots of the original War3 tree to compare?

In-game screenshots added, as a comparison. (Great suggestion)

looks nice and realistic with no model editing, nice, got a blight version too?

Nope. Although I might do one if anyone here needs it.

well I think if you're gonna release these then you should include a blight version or else the trees might look odd on blight.

It looks fine as it is, I appreciate the suggestion though.

Nice skin, but the snow version is a bit too green

Yeah? You're actually quite right about that. I changed and uploaded another screenshot!

nice improvement, but I have two more suggestions.
- remove the snow at the base of the trunk of the snow trees
- create more contrast on the green trees by making some individual branches lighter.

I changed the green trees, as I thought they were a bit too green. Here's an update.

Oh yes, I recall that skin.

I actually had your skin in mind but I only vaguely recalled it. It's a simply amazing skin as the rest of the ones you did for BnB. I've always looked up to you, and I still do

Yeah, I'd love to see some more skins. (The gradient effect on the imp is very nice).

Why did you stop skinning?
