Olof, hoe gaat het. I know you can't animate so how about talking nasrudin into animating this tree fern and the smaller ones you made. Would look awesome. Btw i know you probably are aware of some botanical terms; There's currently around a 1000 different species of palms, most of which have similar features. HOwever there are a few palms that stand out.


1. Sealing wax palm (has an orange trunk) see singapore national garden.

2. Licuala Elegans or Licuala orbicularis (rounded leaves) sumawongii is largest
3. Kentiopsis Divaricata (New leaves come out red) various diff types.
4. oncosperma tigillarium (a clumping palm with many fronds) many types

I would really love to see any of these made, especially the last as we all know palm trees have more fronds. Also pay attention to the width of the trunks. Also if you notice many palms also have coconuts and fruits.

Not the end of the world if they dont get made, but man would it be awesome for those of us like me who love to make scenic maps.

I will probably not make lots of palms, besides, this is not a palm, also not a tree, it's a type of fern.
I don't do requests from anyone, exept if they ideas are just awesome and I never thought of making it.

The only current plans I have for new trees/plants models are:

Auracaria Auracana
