How can you make a skill "hidden" on a unit, but able to be accessed with a hotkey, similar to the older versions of Uther Party? Thanks.

There are 5 hotkeys as far as I know..


UP,LEFT,RIGHT, Down arrow keuy

Left
Collapse Events
Player - Player 1 (Red) Presses the Left Arrow key
Player - Player 2 (Blue) Presses the Left Arrow key
Player - Player 3 (Teal) Presses the Left Arrow key

Player - Player 2 (Blue) skips a cinematic sequence
Player - Player 3 (Teal) skips a cinematic sequence

Player - Player 5 (Yellow) skips a cinematic sequence
Player - Player 6 (Orange) skips a cinematic sequence
Player - Player 7 (Green) skips a cinematic sequence



In your case you would give the unit the ability. and make the unit cast it. Therefore the ability must be one without a target.

I was considering using the arrow keys and such, but is there any way to check if a regular letter key is pressed?

No.

Not unless you use an ability that uses that hotkey.

Other people have used small extra programs to detect when certain keys are hit, but I don't really know if you want that (and I know nothing about it).

Uther Party? Hmm... most use "S" hotkey which is checked by Stop order. like these salamandras or trolls jumping.
