I am just wondering if setting a spell as item or hero or changing its race has any effect on how it behaves in-game. Because I am changing those attributes around for the purpose of organizing my custom abilities in the object editor and I hope there are no side effects. I do realize that making an ability a hero one enables it to be added to a hero's Hero Abilities list and therefore be researched and all. But is there any other differences? If I add an ability with a trigger are they all the same? |

Race and catagory are just for show. |

As for abilities, I think so, when adding them with triggers, hero and unit abilities work the same. |

Thanks for the reassurance. EDIT: Actually I discovered one thing. The tooltips for the abilties disappear from the editor when you make them item abilities. However they still show up in game. |
