Modified RuneBlade model.. Give credit if u want to.
To import: Open world editor, open ur map, open import manager (F12), select import file (CTRL+I), select the MDX file contained in the archive.
To attach: Make a trigger, add the event "Map Initilization", then add the action Special Effect - Create special effect on unit.
Select the "LightningBlade.MDX" file there, You can attach to "hand, left" or "hand, right" w/e works best for ur unit.

I suggest you add a description, unless you want newbys to ask you obvious stuff.

Not a bad idea, came out well. However I suggest you make the hilt more rounded at the top a little to blend. Anyway wont be notice from normal game cameras.

In your post you stated how to attach using the special effects. Real kind of you.

But, I was wondering .. I knew this a while back but I guess I forgot it .. How do you attach using blank spells ?

Something about art target attachments .. but I can't seem to get it working.

The problem might be the skill you are using. Some skills only have attachments on the units you attack and others seem not to allow attachments at all. I generally try to use the item armor bonus ability and reduce the defense bonus to 0. After that you are free to add the attachment where ever you like.

Of course I could be wrong.

I use the "sphere" and just give it to an item or a unit.
