When you edit units theres a 'movement type' key, and it has values like foot, hover, horse, fly, etc. I was wondering what the difference was between values such as foot horse and hover? I guess with fly it's a flying unit etc but whats the difference between the other values? ![]() |

Fly and Hover are the only ones that use the movement height attributes. Foot and Hover are blocked by ground pathing restrictions, whereas only Flying is blocked by flying pathing restrictions. None is actually a movement type that is not restricted by anything, although the computer will tend to path through ground-pathable areas before just ignoring ground blocking. I don't know anything about horse. If I had to guess, I'd guess that it may be the only movement type that uses the Sound - Movement field. |
