Hi, I wanted to know if theres a way in 3dsmax to get a sommething like the waterfall doodad. Its not like the waterelemental(althought the waterelemtal also has this effect) The waterfall uses only 1 texture, so the question is how the hell it looks as if its moving???? |

It is animated texture just as title says... it goes in TVertAnims... best way would be to look at water elemental model how it works, because you must get intans and outtans for animation. In 3dsmax I think there should be some easy way, don't know how it works, but probably just set U & V, place a keyframe, move to another frame, change U & V, place a keyframe and exporter should export this info. |

GOD!!! I made it work!! . . . Ill post a tut today if I can, Ill see what r the actuall steps to archieve the movement. EDIt: yes Jacek I know I could hav done it with mdl, but 3dsmx is fastter, thnx anyway EDIT 2: blizzard is so mean why the hell they didnt post any info about this??? |
