Well, before I start, thanks in advance. I had a idea for a crash landing, and I wished to make it happen. I made a trigger in which had my "space craft" moving to region 000. And I had it set to something similair like this: Events -------------- Time- Elasped game time equal to 4 seconds Conditions ----------------------- None Actions --------------- unit- move space craft 000 <gen> to region 000 cinematic- change space craft 000 <gen> fly height to 1 over (space craft 000 <gen>'s current movement speed) wait- wait 4 seconds trigger- turn on fly <gen> --------------------------- Sounds alright so far? well it did to me Intially off (checked) Fly -------- Event -------- Periodic Event- Every 0.10 seconds of the game -------- Condition -------- None -------- Actions -------- special effect- make special effect attached to space craft 000 <gen>'s origin thunderclap.......... enviorment- make crater deformation over 0.50 seconds at unit position of space craft to 512 radius enviorment- make circle blight at position of space craft to radius of 512 Eh yeah, every .10 seconds was a really bad idea I ended up with really bad crater that screwed up the graphics card... To make a long story short, It jacked up really bad. Any ideas for a succsessful crash landing? ![]() |

i dunno why u use every 0.10 second just to make the crater, u can just make the crater forming with only 1 simple action. |
