neg rep does not get you banned, it has no correlation, but obviously if you do things to get a sufficient amount of neg rep then you might be banned not for your rep but for your actions to earn the neg rep

Actually 100 neg rep results in an autoban, however I doubt anyone would remain unbanned long enough to get 100 neg rep.

What if an unamed individual does nothing to help the community and floods the off-topic forums and midly flames people so that he/she is not banned but neg reped; and this happened on many many occasions.

do you think he would not be banned before reaching 100 neg rep? Because it's the mods and admins that are neg repping him, they obviously notice
