Popup Images in maps?

Hi all!

I would like to hear if you could make an image popup in a game for like 5 sec. Maybe by using Fade filter? Size doesn't matter.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly, but fade filter would work for putting an image over the screen, yes.

One way yuo could do it is to have a plane with an image on the face.

Do you want it covering/obscuring the whole screen?

Whitehorn: I would like the image to stand in front of everything else, so obscuring yes if I understand the word correctly.

Edit: Can anyone give me a link to a Custom Fade filter tutorial or simply tell me which type the file should be?

Both .blp and .tga file types should work.
