Well once again here I am with my questions, but this one is really annoying me. Here's the deal: I have an animation which I like a lot, and it works fine in one save file by itself. I went forward and added two more animations in with that animation, and suddenly *poof* the animation is messed up, and according to some, unrepairable. I've tired to clone it, but to no avail. Apart from completely re-doing the entire animation, which would be a large loss of time, I was curious if it were possible to copy an animation from one Max file's timeline and paste it into another's. Note: No bones or anything would be different in the two files, just adding an animation via CnP. |

I could tell you how to do it for MDL to MDL or MDL to Max, but not Max to Max :P |

Dammit i forgot how the Anim transfer of max is used, but i can guide you to it, try playing with it. Well to get to it inside your scene, go to the menu: File -> Merge Animation.... a new window should pop up, select the animation's scene and keep going, if i remenber well it was asociating some bones to oders like sselecting from what bone to which it would transfer |

Hmm...I'm trying, so far I've got the merge animation window open, and I choose the one file with the animation I want to merge into the existing one as the source file. What settings do I mess with to make it merge correctly? Does anyone know? |
