Themed 'Craft expansions

I had an idea this morning! One that I'll share with you!

The idea was somewhat inspired by Olof's periodic bursts of themed models (Dinosaurs, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings).

The concept is to poll a theme. Take the winning theme and brainstorm it. Brainstorm composition, scope and then compile a potential list.

Such a list will cover units, characters, structures, abilities & spells and so on.

The graphics list is free for modders to tag their names to (selecting items they wish to build).

The mechanics list will likewise be free for scripters to pick from.

The rest will be a mix of theory debate to conclude the best attributes, content and so on, for armies, abilities, tech trees.

There is no 'goal' and no max/min requirements. The idea is to generate a popular fantasy theme, build and design a potential 'pack' for it that can then be used by modders for their maps and mods. Some themes *may* die, some may be taken a step further.

As do I, I really have no clue on themes to suggest(I'm slow in the idea department) but I would love to make stuff.

Hell, why not...seems like fun.

Wisp-theme... everything is wisps, you merge wisps to get more powerful units. That theme would rock!

interesting, but it will need a looot of participants.

Like i always say, i am willing to texture custom models.

There's no pre-determined size for any theme, its more of a PUG after some epix to make a few people happy.
