I have just started using the geomerge and vertex edit tools. I have been fairly successful at moving stuff from one place to the other, however I cant see how I can do the following: Copy the geoset points from one geoset to the other. This is more that adding an existing geoset from one model to the other I want to merge 2 geosets into one. If anyone knows how using oinks tools or any other way please let me know. Thanks |

Can't be done with the oinkertools, I'm afraid. Can be done by taking it all into Milkshape, jiggling it, exporting and grafting, but if you're a bit new then that's a hard process. I do remember hearing something a while ago about a tool that merged geosets together, but I don't know if anything came of it. |

Perhaps we can offer an alternative if you detail the scenario. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that the 'Merge Geoset' option in the Vertexmodifier should be able to do this. It can be found under 'File > Merge Geoset'. I just tried merging 2 random geosets into 1 with it, turned out fine. Also, Gmax can handle this quite easily as well and it's also free. |

Correct, but the merged geoset follow only one bone, and you can't select wich. It works fine for doodads and such, but not for characters models; I'm not sure this is the case or not. |

Not entirely true. Vertex modifier does have vertex group and matrix creation tools, but I've never investigated them fully. |
