After getting a break from my last Warcraft III campaign, The War of the Ancients which some of you may still remember, I began working on another campaign and now, after two months of hard work: the demo is almost ready! The fourth map is half way ready and after that I'll just have import a new custom campaign screen for the campaign and upload it.

I aimed little lower - 15 map is just too much work for one man - and there will be eight maps in total this time. Two interludes, five playable maps and a special submap (now that I finally worked out how to do this). I'll also use more custom stuff this time, but not that much, couple of good models for the heroes and new music tracks to fit the theme, nothing big. What comes to the style I've tried to copy the Blizzard campaign style the best I could, the campaign will feature both RPG styled maps and base building/controlling maps. Overall I estimate the full version size will be about 10 MB. And now for the plot..

Thirteen years ago in Lordaeron, before the Orcish invasion and the first
war on Azeroth, all is peaceful and calm. The reign of the good king of Lordaeron
is a prosperous one and the people live happily their lives without a thing
to worry about. But in some places the life isn't so simple...

Such as the rocky mountains of Khaz Modan. The constant fear
of the dragons keeps men and dwarfs inside their homes and halls, caravans
can't make their way high into the mountains and people are starving. The
only thing which keeps the people of Khaz Modan alive a little bit longer
are the Dragonslayers - a whole family tree of Dwarfs who have dedicated
their lives to fight the threat of the dragons. But after years of battle
only a bunch of them remain; old Dragonslayer Thrarin and his two sons.

For years they fought bravely in the mountains. No dragon was too large or
dangerous for them and they always faced their every enemy with courage and
honor. Until the day when the sky was blackened by the darkest smoke...

No record was made of the bloodbath of Andorhal, all that is known
about it is that a great black dragon with wings as large as the longest
trees and a scaly body like never seen before - attacked the city and that
Thrarin and his both sons disappeared that day.
Now thirteen years later from that gory day, the second war against the orcs
wages hot in the plains of Lordaeron. Heroic deeds are made and alliances
forged again - but at the same time, far from the main battle and near
the northern coasts, a lonely dwarf with a few companions readies himself
for the upcoming battle...

As you can see my writing skills aren't the best possible. I've made a simple script together and the full campaign plot in my mind ready, but I really suck at writing good dialogue. I'm making the whole campaign by myself again, but the only thing I'll need help with is the dialogue as I mentioned before. So if anyone with good language skills and imagination is willing to touch up or write the script again: don't be afraid to post here and I'll PM the script for you.
