This is Starfall as I think it should be. Basically I started by making the effect and then I attached it to the original starfall model itself. You cant really see the full effect in the model editor, you have to see it in the actual game, as even the colors differ from the little window in the model editor, and the actual colors in the game itself. EDIT: Reduced the size for user requests, updated, and added a thunderclap ubersplat upon hit. |

looks like it'd be very laggy.. has a nice look to it but it wouldn't be as satisfying as those great purple spheres pummeling your enemies.. |

can we say L-A-G? Other than that looks pretty cool |

Gave it the quick once over in-game. I have to say it does look wicked cool, but it is a little large. It gets to the point that you can't even see whats under all the kaboom of the effects. Maybe tone down the size and radius of the blast, and I am sure it would look pretty cool. P.S. For the record, starfall is pro, it makes noobs cry and wish they knew how to play, and its sfx look cool as-is. But this is cool too, and if you have no objects I do believe I could use such a thing for DoD. |

Cool model. It will be better if its sized could be reduced. |

Well, I didnt get any lag from this, it only lags when used more than one effect at a time. Its usually good for 1 blast effect, thats the idea actually, rather than starfall at numerous enemies. Sure chuckle, feel free to use it. I reduced the size now anyways, and added a thunderclap ubersplat. |

Didn't lag in my games. But if everyone used same hero or spell at same time then ya poss. Either way nice effects. Blows the blizzard version away. |

Nice to see you're making and not stealing now, vile. Although slightly obnoxious it's pretty cool looking. Good job. |

yepp i can say that its laggy for people with bad pc's, for myself i have an 2600+ with 1024 MB RAM and the starfall in the map (element's Open RPG, and the map had the spell as the model was out, so why havent u post the spell earlier?) is like about 10-15 stars at a second.. and it laggs a bit - medium for my pc so people with bad pcs will have a big lagg when its casted cause of that super thiny thingy (how the maker of the model called it) anyway still good work.. but u need to find a way to reduce lagg!! |
