It's been weeks since I last made a model for RotHE. Busy with building the site and the forum, I had little time for it. Yet, I have recently got some time, and made a new model: The Mithril Forge. Again, the skin is not the final one, it is just a "from many Blizzard textures" made skin. :) Enjoy and comment! ~Daelin |

Very nice, but the skin could use a bit more contrast. |

ywah, more contrast and sharpening, but god dammit, smudge is not your friend! It's a shit tool! Look at the link in my sig and see how colors must be blended and shove your smudge up your... |

Smudge is your friend. And the model is incredible, it doesn't need more contrast because in reality everything doesn't have perfect contrast, I prefer the soft look yuu used |

Well, as I said, skin is still not the final one. This is simply a Blizzard skin. When I will get a skinner to help me with RotHE, then the model will get a different skin. Until then, I'm afraid this one will stay. ~Daelin |

I think it looks great. Models with Blizz skins usually fit into the game much better; you may want to keep it this way, especially to keep the file size down. |

This is not Warcraft 3 skin... So the texture will still require importing. ~Daelin |

Very nice model, the skin (as has been said) needs work, but the model on it's own is perfectly fine. Good work as always. |

interesting project you've got going on there. And, a verry nice model. EDIT: oh yeah, anyone thinks smudge is any good, is an idiot. Using garnorgal as an example in your sig is a flawed argument, as his textures where always really nice, besides the really odd pointy smudges everywhere. It made them look fake, old and like plastic. Wong thread to say this aye? curses. |
