I am building up a Mac OS X version of the mod installer. Should be done by tomorrow morning. I'll post some screenshots, and I'll provide the hosting for it. |

Just to get a head start, how is the mod installed in a map? I am guessing it just imports all the files in the Data folder into the map, but it could also do some parsing job that I am not (yet) aware of. I plan on studying the PC installer a bit after I am done with the UI, but if someone from the MOD could tell me it would save me some time =p |

Huh do what exactly? Never said I wanted to distribute it on my own or anything (albeit I will host it for you guys since I do have access to a fast server but I didn't mean to actually advertise it). Said I was making it and will just deliver it to you guys for you to do whatever you wish with it. I guess I need to ask permission, but for something free as the MOD is, I assumed there would be no legal hurdle in the kind of paying a license fee to get the source code. |

Ye why u be pissed? This guy is ONLY helping out, he wont take any credit for the mod itself, he only helps more ppl to be able to play it... Well maybe he should have asked first but whats the deal? It is nothing illegal... |

It's alright, I am not angry at all. I know how god damn frustrating it is when people start messing with YOUR thing w/o your permission. Since I don't want to wait for an OK from the MOD guys, I am going ahead and making the mac installer, however I won't do anything with it save send it to mikititan. From there, it's his business to evalute. Of course, if he wants me to modify things, I will be entirely his. The fact is the installer will take some time to code well, so I don't want to wait to get started on it. |
