Unwrapping the uv on this one will be defenently a pain ^^ is the smoothing ment ot be that way? It isn't (really) clean... whatever, play a bit with the smoothing groups (if you're using max then: http://www.poopinmymouth.com/process...ing_groups.jpg or edit the normals with an edit normals modifier). Sorry, dunno how to render with wireframe on, I take a screenshot of the model if I want wireframe on. And btw, I think this should be in the modeling/animation forum (or did you really edit an existing war3 model?) |

This is MAX not MDL. Moved. As far as wireframe rendering you can either use the ink'n'paint material type or Standard with the Wireframe option checked. |

But thanks for the link, i'll play with that. But first i think i'll try and reduce the amount of faces and stuff. |

You can remove that smoothing by addying a Smooth modifier and not turning it on. |

Well...the concept art is awesome! :D the model just needs a bit of work, too boxy right now. |

erw modeling now, wtf...? i cant tell what it is most of the time. |

a texture should fix that problem, shouldnt it? ^^ i know it needs work, and i am giving it work. Trying to soimplify the bastard. reason its too boxy is simple, it isnt smoothened. also, unwrapping wont be all too dificult, it'll be a pickle, but not too much. All the spikes for example are exactly the same spike. The base is nothing more then a cylinder with the vertices wobbled around a bit. |

best way to make a wireframe pic is to turn on "edged faces" and printscreen and crop the perspective viewport. now feed us with wires. |

The skull cud use a little work, its too squished |

Add a flow of lava from out of its mouth, that would be cool. And im sure once it's skinned its gonna be great, and since youre erwtenpeller I know the texture won't be a problem ; ) |

i plan to give it an animated texture with lava flowing on the side into the pool, and swirling lava textures in the top and in the pool. The rest will be normal textures. |
