I am making a small game called Card Wars. The point of the game is too summon units too kill the other players card holders (card holders are the ones who summon the units and spells etc) Now I need some Ideas on summons, spells, equipment etc. I have these categories: Nature, Fire, Water, Earth, Storms, Darkness and Light. I have some Ideas for Nature and Fire, but I would really appreciate any ideas you think would fit into this type of a map. |

I wouldn't recommend copying a map. It has bad effects. Anyway, dont make a unit that flies. It's too cheap. Plus, if you are copying off of Card Shuffle, why not take ideas from it? |

You map and categories e.g. fire/nature etc. sound exactly like card shuffle. Maybe you should try contacting the creator seeing if hes looking for a team, just incase. If not you should definetly put - based on Card Shuffle in credits, so atleast its clear you acknowledge it. |

it was actually an ideas thread ![]() anyway I was thinking the other night about an arena type of map. your all enemies and you buy summons/spells/equipment, then you summon your summon into an arena, full with creeps to level and if you encounter another players summon, then you can fight it. Thats the base of it anyway... please tell me what you think. |

I think if you made card shuffle, where player1 could pick whatever teams he wanted from FFA 2v2v2v2v2v2 3v3v3v3 4v4v4 6v6 etc. It would be a much better game. Adding creeps would be strange, not sure if Id like it. Always liked the idea of being able to atk an opponent directly straight away, by summoning small cheap creatures very fast. |

yes I'm going to make a card battle map after my current project is over.. I reckon in 1 month time Right now what I am in the planning phase Colours Death Life Nature Fire Eath Water All colours have creatures, spells, and Artifacts/Devices. Similar Item system to Cardshuff But 1) A card like FireBall Default Damage 50 Damage. Mana Cost 50 (ie 50 Charges) - using this card will set the current charge - 9999999. And a item with 0 charges is removed. This card if placed in the first two slots of the inventory will add Two abilities to the HERO. One is increase Mana or Decrease MANA. You can click on this to change the card to increase/Decrease Damage. 2) Faster Hero level and a mana system more similar to MTG so at the start u obviously cant cast something like a Dragon as you simply dont have the max mana. 3)Temporary Magic Buffs that allow u to increase ur Max mana for a short while 4) Customizable Decks. a) Decks must be customized in SOLO games. There will be like 40 shops each shop will have 10 cards. Max of 5 of each card. Deck size will be 75 cards. After you have completed your game you will save cards as a string using gamecache.. (or you can simple type up your code onto note pad) and copy and paste your deck. You will of course have to open it up and get this text file.. so it might be something like -load CA3jfjfkg49fdjgjr9398r9fjgkj49f94jZGashskhkaa28su Bascially each letter at the start is the Set. with A-Z, a-z and 0-9 you have like 50 sets.. and after it you can have 50 cards so thats 2500 different cards which is plenty. The Z is the terminator card. which signifyies te end of a set. The next character after it is the start of a new set. 5) Artifacts/Devices may be placed on the ground *Mana Batteries --> Transfer item to and from it *Mana to life convertors *Life cannons --> convert life to firepower 6) Countermagic - certain colours have counter spells that can be used to counter certain attacks. These are precasted spells that are casted onto units. 7) Card joining. Certain cards if placed in the inventory will result in a card joining ability in the Hero. You can join these card together to make a more powerful card. 8) Powerful Gloabal Effects. That affect all players and or creatures 9) Unit Generators. These require you to transfer mana to them and they might be able to train really weak units out to fight the enemies. 10) Considering right now whether or not units should heal as per normal? 11) First strike and Speed strike.. Normal unit have a meelle range of attack of 50. First strike have meelee range of 75. Speed strike have a meelle range of 100. These units should theoritacally attack first since they have a longer attack range 12) Speed move. Standard units move at 150. speed move units move at 250. 13) Walls --> SOme units may not move and can are fixed strucutres.. these might be able to deal damage or have other ablities |
