Trees by me

Here are some trees I made (Even the textures were scratch-made)
They are using a bunch of billboarding planes so they look good from all angles(I noticed that TES IV used this technique so I thought I would try it)

The Red Maple is 202 triangles
The Douglas Fir is 85 triangles

nice. the red mapple is kinda nasty, though, due to those branches wich are just straight cilider-like things.

want them so badly.. looks awesome, except as said by TDR (who ate jesus) the branches could have more variation and the bark texture where the branches meet the trunk looks screwy

Did you make mipmaps for your bark textures? At some points they look a bit blurry.
I dont like the billboarding technique for the wc3engine because if you turn the cam around the tree the lightning differences are huge, but thats the problem of the wc3engine, not your mistake. o.O

all in all acceptable

I have not yet created Mipmaps for the bark.
