BACKGROUND STORY INFO It has been 1 year since Illidian's defeat at the hands of Arthas and the blood elves and naga have returned to the Outland defeated. Yet much has changed in thier abscence. The fel orcs have grown increasingly restless since thier defeat at the Black Citadell and have instead inhabited perhaps one of the mighties fortresses of all time, the Hellfire Citadell. And though thier demon masters have been mostly vanquished, the fel orcs draw from another power, wether it is demonic or not, that is hard to say. Since thier arrival the blood elves have re-estabilished thier base at the Black Citadell and have since expanded thier power to several other strong points nearby. However the blood elves have grown increasingly power hungry, and have begun to dwelve into unknown magics, in hopes of uncovering a new source to feed thier lust. They say that a great power exists in the very land of draenor and they only seek to channel it to thier cause. Although they have not made any major breakthroughs, the bloodelves have had some success and it is shown in thier increasingly awesome powers. Such powers that have even the naga concerned of thier allies. It seems as though it is but a repeat of what happened thousands of years ago on Azeroth when the high elves first tampered with magic. Illidan himself spends hours upon hours scouring the texts of orc warlocks that had resided in the citadell before him. Some say that he has gone insane after his defeat at the hands of Arthas but insanity has not robbed him of his powers. The rogue nightelf now wields incredible (some would say hellish) powers. Although initially sided with llidan, the Draenei have withdrawn from this alliance and fear that thier planet will only be destroyed again. Some of the druids have begun work on rebuilding thier world, but they fear only evil can come of the blood elves obsession with magic. But perhaps the most vicious and terrifying of the creatures of Draenor are the Gron. 7 of the most blood thirsty powerful, demi-god warlords ever to exist. The gron rule over the primitive ogres with an iron fist and martial thier incredible strength and resources into a crack army. Unlike others the primitve and supposedly stupid Gron have joined thier forces instead of fighting amongst oneself. Yet for such powerful beings, they are surprisingly secluded, some say that they are building up thier strength but no one can truly prove that, because no one has yet looked upon thier stronghold and lived to tell the tale. Because of thier alliances in the past, the ogres have once agained joined forces with the Fel Orcs. Maiev and her nightelf followers have all but disappeared, and massive blood elf forces have been unable to locate them. Some say that the night elves too are trying to re-kindle the land, while others say that they secretly pull strings and egg on other races against the might of the elves. Yet whatever they are up to, the nightelves have yet to pose a serious problem to the settlement of Draenor. Although the blood elves and naga seem to be the pre-dominant race in Draenor, the fel orcs have waged all out war against the intruders, and despite thier best efforts to elves have yet to make major advances against the orcish line (which is often reinforced by ogres). To the blood elves annoyance the orcs have proven increasingly resistant to thier magical onslaught, causing some to suspect that after having existed in a world so tained my fel magiks that the orcs have developed a resistance against it. .... PLOT It is said that the gateways first opened by Gul'dan, (which effectively tore apart the world) and later closed by Illidian, hold perhaps the key to survival on Draenor. They could for example be used to travel to another less corrupted world, or thier fel magiks could be called upon to be a source of magical power much like the Sunwell had been before. No matter what thier aim, nearly all races desire control of the 5 remaining portals that hold enough energy to be useful. Yet, they have attracted many different crowds of creatures (mainly demons), and to capture a gate is all but impossible. Instead the quest is for 5 jewels forged from some unknown substance by the orcs long ago, to help contain the portals once they were opened. After the destruction of Draenor the jewels were scattered (perhaps even to other worlds), and the quest to find them is on. ================ Yep that's da new RP, coz I felt that a new one was needed. I might have left some things unexplained accidentally, so if you want some clarification on a race or something please say. If you want to contribue an idea to the storyline, please say. I did try and make this RP similar to the awakening, he he. But different from destination outland because it is against the fel orcs that the blood elves strive against. Not much else to say, I'm not gonna say when it starts. The RP will start when there are enough people, and the storyline is fully developed. Character Creation: Anyone can make a char, just follow the storyline. |

Hey, Taur. If you recall a char I made for Destination: Outland. He was never used so if I have your permission for this RP, could I transfer Sirius Mirgos? Here's a link to remind you: http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showpost...&postcount=110 And a question, What are the naga trying to do exactly? |

sure plasma anyways I knew I forgot something, naga: Lady Vashj remains suspicious of the bloodelves intentions, but maintains friendly ties with them. The naga and bloodelves fight side by side, but maintain there distance. However many a naga mage and warlock research the fel magiks alongside the elves, despite Lady Vashj's attempts to keep corruption away. Something of a shadow council made of warlocks and mages have formed within the naga society, and secereltly seek to undermine thier leader's power. |

... Again? I don't think I'll be participating in this one. The Outland thing isn't... uh... something I like a lot. |

I dislike the outland a lot as well. Giglis RP wasn't very popular, I think we should do something else instead. |
