Earth elementals

A few pictres I did in my scetchbook for art class, my theme was the elements and elementals. I did one in pencil and I liked it so much I decided to re-draw and paint it. I like how they came out though, what do you think?

Looks like the lego Rock Monster, but that's a good thing!

it looks really messy. I really cant make out any of the hands, feet or head for that matter. Or well, i can make them out, i know where they are, but without the context of the body i wouldnt identify them as such.

The head's definition is lost in the coloured version. Seems an awkward angle/position.

You must play lots of Ultima Online.
