Unfinished crap

That was my ex-entry for the CGTalk challenge. About 20% finished... ^^
So, really just a rough draft. crappy, it's a shame.
I don't like it anymore, but I don't give up the contest, I'm already drawing something else - something far better. Because actually I've improved quite a lot during this last month, and this picture doesn't at all show my level at the moment.

Expect something big for the next entry :)

And now something new.
Less than 1 hours, pencil on paper. Yeah, I know about the mouth.

This is the result of a paper, a pencil and great skills
But (I have to say it), it looks like Keanu Reeves to me

keanu? naaah. aniway, I think you should work on the eyes more (not on this piece, but in the future) and also don't smudge the pencil with your finger, that's just awfull. Smudging with the finger, or better with a paper blender, is neat only with chalk or charcoal.

Yeah, the eyes are the worst about it. 1. You forgot the lashes 2. To little shading on them. They look really flat.

The front hair seems odd to me.

Tim.
Also the left (From our perspective) part of the mouth looks odd.

You're making the folds on the cloth unnecessarily complicated. It doesn't contribute to the piece as a whole.
(and fix his right hand)
It has some potential however.
