As they dont exist in WoW or Wc3, and as far as I know, no book its kind of hard to explain how they look, doesn't the same page/book that gave you those areas, described them aswell?

Sadly it onlt gives a little bit of the lore on those areas nothing more.

However I know the WoW: Lands of Mystery (dnd book) has the info but I don't want to spend $30 just so I can have the descriptions of each Northrend area

AND LO, DID THE LORE ZEALOT RISE FROM THE FLAMES, CURSING SOUL CALIBUR 3 AND ITS EXCESSIVE IMBANESS OF SOME SAMURAI WHO CAN GUARDBREAK WITH EVERY HIT AND HITS YOU FOR ABOUT HALF OF YOUR HP WHILE YOU CAN ONLY HIT HIM FOR TINY AMMOUNTS

Anywho, thanks to Xaran I know a few bits and pieces

* Azjol-Nerub

Ancient capital of the Nerubian empire. You ran through it during TFT. Some dwarves are out front stopping the Faceless ones from escaping

* Coldarra

Isle where Malygos lives, along with the Blue flight

* Sholazar Basin

I'm not too sure, but I THINK this might have been the tropical rainforest in Northrend that Xaran was telling me about. Think "Un'Goro Crater" and stick it in Northrend and you have what this place is. Considered to be a testing ground for the Titan's fun little creatures, such as the dinosaurs that now roam there

* Borean Tundra

No idea

* Icecrown Glacier

A massive glacier around the centre of Northrend. The Lich King lives on top of it

* The Storm Peaks

Some mountain range

* Crystalsong Forest

A large 'Forest' of crystals located between Coldarra and everywhere else. Only one tree stands in the forest, a sappling of Nordrassil, containing a gate to the Emerald Dream. The Forest was created after a war between the Black and the Blue dragons, in which a blue dragon's spell went haywire with the surrounding magic of the slain dragons and turned the very ground itself to crystal

* The Dragonblight

This is where dragons go to die. The Lich King raised a few Frost Wyrms from here, and there's a group of non-native Tauren in there for some reason

* Zul'Drak

Ice troll city probably

* Grizzly Hills
* Howling Fjord

No idea for either, though Howling Fjord could be a Wendigo-inhabited area

* Ulduar

An ancient Titan city, with Earthen and stuff. You known Uldum and Ulduaman from WoW? Like them, but in the middle of a snowfield

* Great Tree (found in Crystalsong Forest)

A giant tree with a portal in it. Plenty of them in WoW, there's one in Duskwood that a dragon hangs out in front of

* The entrance to the Nerubian kingdom of Azjol-Nerub

Uh, it was in WC3? =P

* Gundrak

Icetroll capital I believe

* Thor Modan

Dwarven outpost on Northrend

* Drak'Tharon Keep

Former Ice Troll city turned into undead place I believe

* Valgarde

Human city I think. Would make sense with the name, simular to Stromgarde

I want the book. Curse it not being available out here in Australia and my own laziness at ordering online

Good thing my memorie alows me to fill in what Mecheon left out.

Quote:
* Borean Tundra

No idea
I think this is Tuskar land, atleast where they have their capital.
Quote:
* The Storm Peaks

Some mountain range
I think this is where that Ulduar place is. Also guarded by "Storm Giants" which is what I guess is another version of the Sea Giants (put there by the Titans).

Quote:
* Grizzly Hills
The "Something-maw" Furbolg tribe hangs around here (I think).

Quote:
* Howling Fjord
Some river area where a really noisy wind blows 24/7.

Rest of the things seems to be right. But notice that I'm not 100% sure about all this.

I'm pretty sure all the human villages\cities on Northrend were exterminated in the first days of the Plague. With the Lich King now turning Northrend into a continental fortress, that would only be even more so.

Azjol'Nerub is also in ruins, the entire citadel is destroyed and many of the tunnels have collapsed. At some point the tunnels lead into a deeper section of tunnels built by the Faceless, who still inhabit them despite the death of their Forgotten master at the blade of Arthas.
