AI Tutorial

Blade.dk	Hello, and welcome to Wc3Campaigns :). Have you checked the tutorials section? There might be something there, but generally, and unfortunately, AI is not documented as much as for example JASS is.

TaintedReality	There used to be a pretty good beginners AI tutorial, but unfortunately it died when the site was remade (or whatever actually happened). The best way is to look through the human/elf/orc/undead.ai files and see what they did. Make a few changes and see what happens in game. I made a basic melee AI for a new race once, but..it was never very good. AI scripts behave oddly =P.

And if you learn the basics, you can download a copy of AMAI (www.wc3sear.ch) and see how that works x) (its a MUCH better AI then the one currently in warcraft 3. nearly impossible to beat the bloody thing o_0 mass micro + base building + hero and item management all done at a speed no human could accomplish, along with strategys that are excecuted flawlessly)
