Hello, I have a forthcoming LAN party and Iv'e sat down to make a map, A hero kind of map. with me as DM and my friends as some invented heros
Two questions have I:

a) What spell shall I use as a base to a spell that Kills all the units in a small area?

b) How can I import new buttons pictures? (one of them I got from this site the tauren rage.)

1: depends on how you want it to be targetted. I suggest simply using an AoE targeted nuke spell and set the damage insanely high, so everything dies, easy.

2: you need two icons if you import new ones, enabled and disabled. It doesnt really mater what they are named, but they should have a letter code in front of the name that allows the game to link enabled and disabled icons. Simply make sure your enabled icon is called "BTNsomething" and your disabled icon is named "DISBTNsomething" and it should be working.

There are already fantastic maps available online for exactly this purpose, having some players as DMs and others as Heroes. They're called D&D maps.

You don't have to start from scratch. D&D maps are a tremendous amount of work; you'll probably want to start with an existing one and make your modifications to it. Attached is the latest version of my own D&D map [/shameless plug]. It should be exactly what you're looking for.

Thanks, this was what I was looking for.

It come to my mind that I could use a D&D map, yet I choose to create my own becuse I wish to work and gain experiance using the World Editor.

Third question I thought about. How do I increase the Hero's maximum level?

Ah, that's a good idea. Mapmaking is a lot of fun. I was just concerned that if your lan party is too soon you might not have enough time to finish your map.
