Hi, I wish to inform of new openings in the NOTD Aftermath development community. In the coming weeks, we will have actual administrators, each with a functional department. Among the task specific departments in mind are : • News and Articles • Downloads and Resources • Marketing and Public Relations • Product Development • Legal Advisor The first two specialities will have limited ftp access to required folders in order to perform the necessary tasks. Our plan for a Marine information database will be included into this category. Our articles are chiefly Warcraft III industry related for now and we will gradually branch out into broader issues as our community evolves. Marketing and Public Relations will be involved in search engine optimization, building awareness, running public campaigns and in-game campaigns such as the planned Operation Starlite. Product Development would be involve operations such as our own IRC management, web browser based games, merchandise and others. We cannot afford to pay anyone at this stage of our development and we can only rely on the goodwill of competent volunteers. The only thing I can promise is an open book on our earnings. The details of how they are earnt cannot be published due to program policies. Our philosophy will undergo adaptation and revision as we think through this. • To report everything in a timely manner, giving a true and fair perspective • A commitment to results • Respect for freedom of expression • Never determine how the lives of others should be lived • Service above self |

Why are you named after DreamWorks? Not very original. |

You're right. It is also not a suitable name. It was used for fun in the early days and we will have to come up with a new name soon. We are thinking of something broad, not like Cable News Network but more like Virgin. Hmm, name suggestions are welcome! Thank you for the advice Aray. |
